Support of Non profit organizations or social service organizations are best source for developing nations

We can categorize organizations into two categories, first are organizations whose main objective is to survive in the present competitive market and gain more benefits to the organization which they have set up. Second are nonprofit organizations whose main goal or objective is to dedicate themselves and to promote end to end social service activities and programs for society.

As many developing nations require the assistance from Non profit organization to succeed in providing support for people who are in need especially of rural areas. The government projects implemented by these developing nations certainly do not reach the intended groups with out the support of the non profit organizations or social service organizations.

India is one such developing nation and well known as democratic country worldwide, but still central and state governments of India fail to address basics issues like education, medical and health assistance, employment opportunities, safeguarding of environment for the people of the nation. In order to tackle these issues with confidence, many non profit organizations in India are being set up and are playing active role in providing assistance to the poorest of the poor with their different social service activites.

CRY, UNICEF are well known NGO world wide and are dedicated to serve the people around the world especially at the times of natural calamities like floods, earth quakes, Tsunami. Other major Voluntary Organization is Red Cross and it has a network of over 700 branches throughout the country, providing relief in times of disasters/emergencies and promotes health & care of the vulnerable people and communities. In global environment arena, WWF (World Wildlife Fund) is a Voluntary organization which works to stop the degradation of the planet's natural environment and to build a future in which humans live in harmony with nature.

These Non profit organizations mentioned above have helped people in need and implemented successful NGO projects with their unprecedented social service activities. In India these organizations have set up their head quarters with the moral support of the government and have succeed in promoting end to end social service activities through out India. Apart from major Non profit organizations in India, there are many NGOs in India who have taken initiative of addressing the basic issues and also succeeded in making a mark as non profit organization.

Group Activities For Catholic Youth

Being an adolescent is not easy. This is the time when you experience a lot of pressure from people around you. You begin to explore things you hardly know about and you often drift away from your family. If you don't like what's happening and you feel that there is a need to change your ways, then you should be involved in Catholic youth group activities.

Well of course, you have to be a Catholic so that there will be no conflicts with regards to faith and beliefs. But anyway, Catholic youth groups are open to all teenagers who want to be nearer to Jesus Christ and His righteous ways.

So why choose to become a member of a Catholic youth group now? Perhaps you're already aware that the world is filled with a lot of temptations; temptations that can wreck your life forever. If you don't want to end up like all the others, you must choose a youth group now. That way, you will grow with faith in the Lord through the various experiences that will soon come your way.

As a member of a Catholic youth group, you will be able to experience Jesus Christ in strangers and friends. Through acts of charity and social justice, you can experience the The Holy Spirit. The youth group will also conduct scripture reflections, liturgy, prayers, and retreats so that all the members can experience God.

The Catholic youth groups all over the world have the same purpose and that is to offer all the youths a fun and safe Christian environment. You will be able to see your friends on a particular schedule every week. The mission of all the youth groups is to energize the parish youths in faith though various social activities, discussion topics, scripture reflection, outreach, service, and other church-related actions.

As mentioned earlier, everyone is invited as long as you're a teenager. There is a Catholic youth group for every parish; however, if you are not from the parish or you're from another denomination, you're still welcome.

The youth activities usually vary every month but most youth groups follow a basic structure which includes the following opening prayer, scripture reflection, activity, open forum, and the closing prayer.

During the school year, the youth group usually meets once every month and during special events or activities. Aside from the church-related events, the youth group can even go scavenger hunting, Lenten seder, and movie night outs. So you see, its not just about learning about God and Christ, but it is also about having fun as a teen.

The big difference though is that you will be far from worldly temptations like alcohol, drugs, and many others. You will be surrounded with other teens who are responsible, disciplined, and religious.

The youth group has an activity coordinator and if ever your group wants to suggest a certain new activity, you can easily contact the authorized person.

So you see, being a member of a catholic youth group is fun and exciting. You will learn a lot every time the group meets. You can now consider the youth group as your new peer group. Now, your parents will not worry every time you go out because they are sure that you're with good company.

Veterinary Secrets Revealed

Alternative pet health care has grown over the past few years, but the truth is that Veterinarians have STRONGLY discouraged pet owners from treating their pets outside of the Vet Clinic.

The entire Pet Health Industry has a vested interest in discrediting alternative medicines which can safely, naturally and effectively allow pet owners to care for their pets at home.Remember the Pet Food Recall of 2007? This is the trust that we place in pet food companies... we assume that all pet food is safe, that the 'powers that be' have our pets' best interest at heart. In the case of those companies, that is not the case.Veterinary Secrets Revealed allows dog and cat owners to care for and treat their pets on their own. It doesn't matter what category your pet's problem fall under...

Diseases and Illnesses, such as cancer, usually treated with conventional medications that make your pet feel worse rather than better.

Ailments like back spasms or arthritis that reduce your pet's ability to enjoy favorite activities. Behavior problems like aggression that can lead to dangerous situations in and outside your home. Veterinary Secrets Revealed will provide all the information you need to keep your pet healthy or to improve the health of your sick pet.

And, Veterinary Secrets Revealed does it without medical jargon, without complicated procedures, and without an eye on the pharmaceutical companies' bottom line (yes, The Vets face the same pressures as human doctors.)Simple, Proven System Tackles Your Pet's Behavior And Health Problems - Often With Items That Are Already In Your Home If you understand even a little of what Veterinary Secrets Revealed can do for you and your pet, then you'll naturally jump at the opportunity to ensure that you can...

Instantly decide on a course of action for your ailing pet - so you can ease pain and start treatment immediately. Easily afford natural and effective remedies regardless of your financial situation - so your pet doesn't have to go without treatment. Quickly diagnose your sick or injured pet - so you can instantly know if you can administer care yourself or if you should seek medical help immediately. Immediately begin regimens that have been proven to halt and or prevent diseases such as cancer and diabetes - so your pet can live a long and healthy life with you... Even if Veterinary Secrets Revealed only helps you avoid just one SINGLE trip to the Vet with your dog this year, you will have saved almost $90.

But the BEST thing is, with this book you will save several trips to your vet - Veterinary Secrets Revealed will pay for itself over, and over, and over again. But each time you visit your Vet, you'll pay again... and again... and again.

Auto racing

Auto racing (also known as automobile racing, motor racing or car racing) is a motorsport involving racing cars. It is one of the world's most watched television sports.

History

The beginning of racing

Racing began soon after the construction of the first successful petrol-fueled automobiles before that time people raced in other vehicles such as horse-drawn buggies. The first race ever organized was on April 28, 1887 by , by the chief editor of Paris publication Le Vélocipède, Monsieur Fossier. It ran 2 kilometers from Neuilly Bridge to the Bois de Boulogne. It was won by Georges Bouton, in a car he had constructed with Albert, the Comte de Dion, but as he was the only competitor to show up it is rather pointless to call it a race. On July 22 1894, the first real contest was organized by Paris magazine Le Petit Journal, as a reliability test. The Comte de Dion was first to arrive in Rouen on his steam car, but a Panhard et Levassor was judged to be the winner.

In 1895, the Paris-Bordeaux-Paris Rally was held and this was the first real race as all competitors started together. The winner was Émile Levassor in his Panhard-Levassor 1205 cc model. He completed the course in 48 hours and 47 minutes, finishing nearly six hours before the runner-up.

The first regular auto racing venue was Nice, France, run in late March 1897 as a "Speed Week." To fill out the schedule, most types of racing event were invented here, including the first hill climb (Nice - La Turbie) and a sprint that was, in spirit, the first drag race.

An international competition, between nations rather than individuals, began with the Gordon Bennett Cup in auto racing.

The first auto race in the United States took place in Chicago, Illinois. The course went from the South side of the city, North along the lakefront to Evanston, Illinois and back again on November 28, 1895 over an 54.36 mile(87.48 km) course, with Frank Duryea winning in 10 hours and 23 minutes, beating three petrol-fueled and two electric cars.

City to city racing

With auto construction and racing dominated by France, the French automobile club ACF staged a number of major international races, usually from or to Paris, connecting with another major city in Europe or France.

These very successful races ended in 1903 when Marcel Renault was involved in a fatal accident near Angouleme in the Paris-Madrid race. Nine fatalities caused the French government to stop the race in Bordeaux and ban open-road racing.

Using Business Service Management to Succeed in a Tough Economy

Whether the economy is booming or facing a crunch, one factor plays a critical role in business: IT. In today's business environment

, almost all business activities are tied with the IT department. However, most of the departmental heads have no idea of the impact of complex technology on their respective business processes. Many a times, department heads have no means of identifying and preventing bottlenecks within applications so that end users are not affected. In today's tough economy, Business Service Management can come to the rescue of many IT managers as well as departmental heads to ensure a smooth running of business processes.

The importance of knowing end to end performance is not only applicable for large enterprises, but smaller entities too. In fact, monitoring end to end performance of applications is more important for small businesses, considering that they function on a very tight margin. In order to stay on top of any performance issue and to effectively solve it, business owners need application monitoring tools through which they can monitor whether their business services are functioning properly. Such application monitoring would also inform them of any bottlenecks in advance and prevent any large scale impact on end users. Business Service Management enables both the teams to do just that.

Business Service Management solutions help bridge the gap between the departmental heads and the IT team. When a BSM solution is put to work, the business department can work in coordination with the IT department to ensure that all the services are available and any potential problems may be solved before they start affecting end users. BSM helps in detection of IT issues, tracing their root problem and solving them quickly.

With Business Service Management,

  • Issues related to business-critical applications can be dealt with proactively
  • Departmental heads can start prioritizing tasks according to their importance
  • Information can be presented according to the role of the person concerned
  • IT Service Management is easier to put into practice

Businesses hence need to consider Business Service Management as a necessary component in order to know the end to end performance of all their critical applications. However, businesses are sometimes forced to choose between two extreme BSM solutions: one which is inexpensive but lacks functionality, and another, which is expensive and needs a lot of manpower to support it.

An ideal Business Service Management would be one which is integrated, affordable and easy to use. A business should not have to make a compromise in quality due to the cost of the BSM solution. An ideal solution would allow end to end performance monitoring as well as management Service Level Agreement. It would also not require any manpower to manage it.

Until sometime ago, only larger APM vendors used to offer BSM solutions; even then, these solutions were expensive and complicated. But now, with the popularity of Business Service Management, other vendors have started offering affordable and easy to use solutions which can be applied in small businesses as well.

The increased dependency on IT for business critical functions has made Business Service Management as well as IT Service Management a must for any business. Both IT managers and departmental heads can work together to ensure that business services are available to end users without a problem.

What Is Association Management And Why Are They Growing Today

Being a part of an association of home/property owners of your community is not a new idea for most of us. Property or a home owner’s association basically is a legal entity created by real estate developers for facilitating development, management and selling of homes. The idea is to transfer ownership of the association to the homeowners so that the developer can exit financial and legal responsibilities. This association is regularized by a board of directors who are elected by members of the committee itself and this board is outfitted to take final decisions about just everything concerning the committee.

It is the function of the Board of Directors to establish and implement all of the codes, concordats that govern the community; as well as to fully maintain all of the mutually owned areas in the community. Any dispute with neighbor about their lack of respect for certain policies or provisions such as illegal storage or poor lawn grooming that remain unresolved are technically supposed to be taken up with the Board. The functioning of the association is often looked to be dealing with elementary issues however it is empowered to deal multifaceted issues too. A homeowners' association enforces its actions through the threat and levying of fines, and private legal action under civil law and is not subject to the Constitutional constraints that public government must abide by. With a framework such as this to take care of interests association members it could be easily believed that all problems can be taken care of. But people who have faced problems have a different story to tell.

The problem very common with this set up is that the boards of directors remain unreachable to the committee members or in other case home owners and tend to function independently in absence of proper interaction with concerned parties. This is where Association Management Professionals come in. The Association Management acts as a bridge between the committee members and the board of directors and it often takes form of Homeowners Association Management.

The Association Management company performs functions such as attending board meetings, inviting and analyzing bids, making recommendations on behalf of the committee etc. Contracts for maintenance, repairs, additions, and improvements or alterations to common areas are responsibilities of the association management there on once hired. Association management develops procedures to enable residents to make suggestions or complaints, Send notices, arrange and check in attendance to annual meeting, and support the Board in conducting the meeting.

Keeping records of the legal documents, financial data, member rosters, minutes etc can be difficult tasks if imagined to be handled unprofessionally and also activities too important to be left out unattended. The Association management supports enforcement of rules and regulations by the board. Thus they aids proper functioning of a Home owners Association being fair to both the committee members and the board of directors. As property management is seen as a very crucial element of investments in financial activities, it is being looked at to be handled very closely and it is recommended that Association Managers be brought into the picture. People look to have Association Managers take care of the activities so that they can sit back feeling assured their interests and rights are being taken care of.

How Often Do You Watch Movies

This is a pertinent question that should be taken seriously if you want to save some cash in the entertainment department. Just think about it. How often do you venture of to the theater to catch a flick on the big screen, or rent some DVDs to view at home? Many of us do this every week. We all know that Friday night is the big night. And since we all fork out the dough for our love of movies, it's time we shopped a tad more wisely. Have you ever heard of a movie club? These are rather prominent now days. While so many people already take advantage of the great deals provided by music clubs, the movie clubs aren't considered as much yet. Well, it's time to change things. It's time to save your hard-earned cash, folks.

If you didn't already know, Columbia House has a movie club. Ah ha, you've seen this name before. Of course you have; they're well known for their music club. Well now it goes both ways. You can further save by paying less for your movie habit. What flicks are you into? I can't lie; I love those cheesy Horror films. While I'm clearly aware of their lack of taste and cinematic genius, they still fulfill the ultimate aspect of film. They entertain! Now if something doesn't entertain, how can you call it entertainment? Anyway, I purchase a variety of these cheese-ball horror flicks via a movie club online. Hey, if you're not jacked into cyberspace, you're certainly missing out on infinite deals and bargains. Have you discovered an online movie club yet? While Columbia House is definitely one of the big guys on the block, they're by no means the only one around.

Many of the movies we watch, we're interested in purchasing. These are the ones we need a low priced movie club for. While I do all my renting on http://Netflix.com, once in a while I'll run into a motion picture that touches my heart and I have to acquire it permanently. Okay, that's a load of bull. It's probably some tacky slasher film that gets my juices flowing. Regardless of what films do this for you, you can surely find them all at a good movie club. Hop online today and see what prices and monthly deals are available. It's time to purchase those flicks you can't live without and stop re-renting them over and over. It's time to save your hard-earned cash.

Giving To Children's Charities

Giving to children's charities can be among the most rewarding things you can do with your money. Selecting the right charity, however, can seem complicated with the wide variety of charities out there. While most charities are reputable and trustworthy, there are some instances of fraud or other issues that can make giving to charities something worth taking a closer look at. Overall, thankfully, the act of giving to children's charities can be tremendously rewarding and compassionate.

Picking a Charity

When choosing a children's charity, take a look at your own priorities first. What issues are important to you? If you have a relative with a particular illness, you may want to donate to a charity that has an association with that particular illness. Most people give to children's charities with which they have a particular emotional attachment. To pick a charity, make a list of some of your own priorities and start planning from there.

Next, take a look at the geographical location and situation of the children that the charity aims to help. Are you interested in helping children internationally or are local children's charities more your cup of tea? Your charitable donation can make a difference regionally, locally, nationally, or internationally. Make sure you learn as much about the location your donation will be assisting, so as to be able to give with confidence.

Also take a look at what activities the charity will perform to assist children. In many cases, you can assign your own donation to the areas in which it is needed most. If, for example, you wish to distribute some funds or equipment to the building of a new playground at a children's cancer center, you can request that those funds are given to the proper area. If it appears that your charitable donations will simply be allocated to administration purposes, you may want to consider another more active charity.

Giving to a large organization differs from giving to a smaller organization in a number of ways. With your donation to a large children's charity, you may be helping with a big project or helping fund other parts of a large charity organization. With a smaller grassroots organization, you may be able to be more aware and enlightened as to where your funds or donations are being allocated.

When it comes to making sure that the children's charity you intend to work with is legitimate, you can contact the tax services branch of your local government. All registered charities will have a business number and will have ample tax and government information. If the charity you are looking to work with does not have a business number or registration information, do not donate to them.

Finally, decide what type of donation you wish to make. Some charities accept monetary donations primarily, while others accept donations of time or even toys. There are some organizations that offer ways to connect children with great toys, like dollhouses or stuffed animals. With a simple internet search, you can find out more information about helping the various children's charities and how your money, time, or toys can be donated to help brighten the day of a youngster today.

Community Service Worker: Is It A Good Choice As A Career?

I've been a social worker for more than ten years. During that time, I've worked in the emergency room of a major trauma center, a skilled nursing facility specializing in the care of people with Alzheimer's and most recently a hospice. I love my job and even if I get frustrated at times, no amount of money could persuade me to quit social work.

Just because I love my community service job, however, does not mean that community service is the right career choice for everyone. If you are considering a career in community service, ask yourself the following questions:

#1. What kind of training and background do I have?

Social work is a profession for those with a strong desire to help improve people's lives. Many community service workers have degrees in social work, counseling, psychology, nursing, or another related field.

But don't despair if you have only a high school diploma or a GED. You may be able to enter the field as an assistant or a "designee." Many nursing facilities, for instance, can not afford to hire social workers so they train a person with savvy and people skills to act as the "social service designee." Although not a trained social worker, this person takes on most of the work social workers do in a facility such as admissions, applications for financial assistance, and discharge planning.

#2. What do I want from a job?

If your answers included themes like money, power, and prestige, you would be wise to give community service work a second thought. Although you can make a solid salary as a community service worker, you will not get rich, nor will you find yourself being interviewed by Oprah or Dave Letterman.

If, on the other hand, your answers included themes of wanting to help people, or at least a specific group of people, or wanting to make your corner of the world a better place, you are probably on the right track with a community service job.

#3. What are the working hours I'm available for?

Full-time social workers most often work a 40 hour week, however, there may be a need to work evenings or weekends to meet with clients or handle emergencies. In voluntary nonprofit environments, part-time work is most standard. While most time is spent in a facility or office, they may be required to travel locally to visit clients, meet with service providers or attend meetings.

#4. Can I handle taboo subjects?

If you are a community service worker, you will have to deal with issues that make the majority of citizens uncomfortable. For instance, nurses and social workers were holding the hands of dying AIDS patients years before the president of the United States could bring himself to say the word AIDS.

As a community service worker, you will routinely be encountering issues such as death, mental illness, child abuse, domestic violence, and substance abuse. You will also have to work with people from all sorts of different backgrounds and lifestyles. Would you be comfortable with a client of a different race? Religion? Sexual orientation?

If you have or are willing to seek out the proper training, want a job that will allow you to make a real difference in the world, and are able to handle difficult subjects and differences, you would probably make an ideal community services worker. Best of luck with your career!

Knowing God and Hearing His Voice

All Christians have the ability to hear God’s voice and to have a close relationship with Him but some are missing out because they haven’t learn how to listen to God with their spirits. Are you aware that to know God in an intimate relationship is eternal life? Eternal life is not getting a ticket to heaven because eternal life begins at the moment of salvation. A good Bible commentary is essential to know Bible truth.

The door is opened when Christ comes into your heart for you to have fellowship and to commune with God. Trying to hear and know God in the natural with our physical bodies will not cut it, because God is Spirit. The only way to communicate with God is using your spirit to connect to His Spirit in heavenly fellowship.

I found no greater pleasure here on earth then I do when I hear God talk to me. I used to ask God all the time to help me and give me things. I’m talking about things that are necessary like money to pay your bills and to have good health. Now I do not seek God’s hand but I seek His face because to just be in His presence is more joyful then anything that I can have or do. Did you know that God wants your fellowship more than you want Him? God takes great pleasure in knowing His children.

We are told when we use Bible study that no man seeks after God and then in another scripture passage we are told to seek God’s face. The Bible truth is that no one can seek after God unless God first calls unto him giving him a desire to seek after God. When we have a desire to really seek God’s presence it is because God Himself put that desire within us and we should thank Him very much for giving us a blessed gift like this so we may know Him better.

We will not be able to communicate with God in the natural because God is Spirit. You cannot hear from God or see God with your human natural eyes or ears. Listening to God is apart from the natural body, which we use to communicate with other people like our family and friends. The only way we will be able to communicate to God is by using our spirits to talk, listen, walk and see Almighty God. This is what I hope to be able to do with you is to help you learn to use your spirit to communicate with God.

Knowing God is essential for Christians.

A relationship with God with close interaction is what life is all about. Hearing God’s voice and knowing His presence daily can take your Christian experience to the highest level. The Bible reveals to us the way for us to hear God’s voice and to know Him better. Through prayer and intimate knowledge of God all Christians can know God better when they know how to listen to God with their spirits. The art of hearing God does not have to escape the believer. God is always near open your spiritual eyes. Find out more about hearing God’s voice for yourself.

Karaoke Madness

I came from a family who loves to sing. Though, not every one of us is as skilled as the others, but that doesn’t stop us from doing what we love, which is singing. Coming from a close knit family, we always have gatherings. We love reunions; always present on birthdays, weddings, baptismal, thanksgiving, holidays or merely weekend get-togethers of drinking and dining out. And in those parties, we always find ways to include karaoke singing.

We take turns in having these parties at different abodes every time. And the funny thing is, every one of us has its own karaoke machines! Not letting ourselves to be outdone, I may say. That is how our family is, obsessed in karaoke’s. So obsessed that some of my cousins took crash courses in singing. Singing at karaoke bars or simply inside our home is a pleasurable way of eliminating stress and pressure from work or by our daily lives. We can temporarily set aside our problems by engaging ourselves in this hobby. Some of us use this as an escape from the burden life is giving us. A therapy and cure to anxiety to some.

Also, singing karaoke is a good vocal exercise to aspiring singers. A practicing ground for people who wanted to get discovered. And to some, to showcase a hidden talent that wants to get out. Whatever the reason we have why we enjoy singing karaoke, a common denominator exists to all of us; we love music and we love to sing.

So many years of experience in singing karaoke had taught me lots of techniques that I want to share to my fellow karaoke singing enthusiasts.
First, select a song that you know. Don’t pick songs just because it sounds good to you. You can have songs that you already knew and within your voice range. You can try other songs but be sure that you are familiar with the tune and you have practiced singing it before singing it in front of others.

Second tip is being familiar with your voice strength. That is why choosing the songs that you might sing is very important.

Third is to feel relax and comfortable with yourself while singing in front of everyone. Others hesitates singing in karaoke bars in front of strangers. Don’t let this hinders you from enjoying the night. Remember, almost everyone is drinking that is why you have bigger chances that they won’t remember you once they woke up from their hangovers.

Fourth is having a boundary. Knowing your boundaries and staying within it can help you achieve your desired performance. Identifying your limitations is making you aware of your execution of a particular song.

Fifth, do not drink too much alcoholic beverages. It would only ruin your singing. You don’t want to sound slur while singing and also, resort to shouting when alcohol gets the better of you.

And lastly, don’t forget to practice, lots and lots of it. You want to be prepared and not be left behind, right?

Advantages Of Business Associates

You might be under the impression that once you open up your home business you are not going to have to deal with any business associates ever again. In fact some people decide to open a home business just because they do not want to deal with people any more and they think that they can do it all on their own without the aid of anyone else. However, if you decide to start a home business thinking that you are not going to have to deal with anyone else, you might be completely mistaken.

In fact, owning a home business might mean that you have to see people more than you had think. Remember, a home business is hard to run, much harder than you might have assumed. You are going to have to be relying on yourself for several things, because you no longer have a boss or business associates to take care of things for you. Every single aspect of your business, from the web page design, to the marketing, to the every day chores like emptying the trash, is going to be up to you. This might come as a shock to someone who has not thought about it. If your computer breaks, there are no tech people on staff to help you out and if you need an expert for something, you have to be your own expert.

This is why having home business contacts is so very important. You want to be sure that you are making as many contacts as possible, wherever you go. This is simply a case in which you can not afford to be on your own as much as you would like to. Many people who own home businessesprint marketing aspect of your business, if you can write them some good content for their own website.

Remember that with a home business, you can not afford to go it alone no matter how much you want to. This is a case in which people really have to depend on each other, even if they are working from home and are working on their own. One of the decisions you might want to make is whether or not to bring your spouse or other family members on board. This might be a way to get some help with some of the aspects of running your home business that you have never thought of before.

Small Business Organizations To Join

For the small business owner, keeping up with all of the available benefits can be difficult. In addition, how does one meet the requirements for a minimum number of employees in order to find good rates on insurance? Unlike the larger companies, it's not as simple as calling someone and knowing you qualify to participate. Many insurance plans require a minimum number of participants in order to offer group rates, so oftentimes the small business owner is left in the cold.

This is the point where a small busine4ss can take advantage of some of the various organizations that exist just for them. Various organizations offer different benefits for the small business organization, including those who come together as an association so that small business can take advantage of benefits previously only offered to large businesses. For examples, some credit unions offer insurance benefits to their members at group rates, while labor unions quite frequently have plans already in place for their members, no matter the size of the individual organization.

Each existing small business organization has its own function and plan for helping the small business owner. Some offer training in order for the business to grow in its knowledge of the product it produces, while others offer working capital to allow the business to develop and flourish. The government operates some of these organizations, while others are privately owned or non-profit organizations that are funded by major corporations. Whatever the needs may be for a small business, there is an organization there to meet those needs. The difficulty is not in an organization being in operation to assist with those needs, but for the small business owner to have the capability of locating these organizations when he needs the information. Thanks to the Internet, this process has become easier, but for a start up business, access to online sources may not always be an option. Fortunately for those who do not have online access, or choose not to utilize it, various books and publications are available to assist a small business in locating organizations that are specifically geared toward helping small businesses succeed.

When you re just starting out, it is very difficult to know all of the places to search for information, so another good source of information is your local university. Quite often the business development centers of the universities offer many different services to small businesses in the private sector. This includes information about start up funding, different types of financing based upon the scope of the business and its ownership, and training in essential areas of business ownership. In some areas, these classes are even sponsored in cooperation with the Small Business Administration and other small business development organizations.

Why You Should Raise Your Child In A Church Community

Recently a friend and I were discussing our thoughts about parenting. He and I share many common ideas and values, but there was one glaring difference in our styles -- church membership. He just could not understand why I felt it important to raise my child in a church community. He was not questioning why I wanted my child to have faith in God, but he could not see how belong to a church family could be an important parenting resource.

I explained to Tom that there are actually five reasons why I believe it is important to raise my son in a church community.

First is, of course, the issue of faith. I want my child to have a strong faith in God because I know that faith will provide the comfort, solace, and inspiration to carry him through the joys and tribulations that are in store for him as a human. I know this from my own personal experience as well as countless studies which have shown that people with faith in a higher being live longer, happier, and more fulfilling lives.

Belonging to a church is more than simply attending services on Sundays. It is about becoming a member of that community and that is a very important factor in my decision for my child. His friends are children he has known his entire life and his teachers and caregivers are adults and teenagers we have known for years. We have history and connections that brings us together for fun and fellowship as well as to share troubles and celebrate joys.

Every child needs a variety of role models to help decide what person they will become. I cannot think of a better place to find a wide range of role models than in a church. I know there are many people that I look up to among our congregation and I am sure that my son has many as well.

Regularly attending church and Sunday School as well as participating in the church community provides a child with many important guidelines for being a good person as well as a good Christian. Learning the Golden Rule, the 10 Commandments, and Bible lessons are all an important part of that. Children also learn from watching others and following that example. If they see their parents and other adults giving of their time, love, and money then they will be more giving as well.

Finally, I find Church teaches my child a lot about social relationships. He has a group of peers that he has known since infancy and will grow to adulthood with but he also enjoys a spread of generations and knows and loves people of many ages and backgrounds that he likely would not know if not for church. Simply by raising my child in a church I have given him a number of social connections that I hope will help learn and grow to be a man I can be proud of.

These five reasons are all powerful motivations for raising your child in a church community, but there is one other important factor as well. Attending church, and church community activities, is something that you can do together as a family. Step off the hectic whirl of day-to-day life and into a community of faith.

Political Parties are Like Cooperative Societies

Political parties are like co-operative societies
Dalip Singh Wasan, Advocate.

After the invention of concept of democracy, political parties came into being or we can say the people who were politicians gave birth to this concept of democracy in the world. The politicians wanted their absorption and for that purpose they introduced the system of elections and then they established this voting system and when voting system was there, they needed candidates. The voters were already existing and they needed candidates. They formed the present party system. Some people joined together like people joining co-operative societies and they distributed the status amongst each other. Some were appointed as presidents, some as vice presidents, some general secretaries and some were enrolled as executive members. Others were enrolled as ordinary members.

They are the people who started taking places of rajas, maharajas, monarchs and then even the imperialists. They started election system and they are the people who enabled themselves to stand as candidates and all the people were converted as voters. We have noted that these people could take the position of rajas, maharajas, monarchs and the imperialists and the people at large became simple voters. At the time of elections these political parties came forward and started raising false and empty slogans and thus they could attract people and could get their votes. The people i.e. the political party which could win majority could form a government and the parties which lost or remained in minority, they formed opposition. In India, it is on record that there had been family rule, there had been party dictatorship and then individual autocracy. Now one party having majority has stopped and now the political parties are joining together in alliances and they are forming governments.

Most of the political parties have got no principles nor they are interested in the development of the country they rule. They just come forward with empty slogans and they win elections because most of the people in democracies are not properly educated and that is the reason they are not understanding what is hidden in the hearts of these politicians. They do not know that these politicians are not willing to become public servants and that is the reason, most of the elected governments just work in routine matter and they just pass time and then. Where political parties are not having any principles or basics with them, there the people just change the government and they start believing that they have done something great. But in reality they just change the set of people and the new set of people who occupy the seats of power and not better than those who are vacating the seats and that is the reason the governments go on without any progress in the country.
The people in politics have formed these co-operative societies and they have distributed seats amongst themselves. They are allowing others to enter the parties, but against admission fee and sometime they sell the party tickets and sometime they also sell the ministries. They divide the money they collect as per their own adjustments within the party and they are also sparing something for party fund.

We have noted that all these politicians with all their separate parties, they are one from heart and that is the reason they are taking seats of power by turns. They may be raising minor objections in the functioning of government, but they do no speak much about the scams, scandals, muddles, bribes, corruption, sale of jobs, quotas and the licences. They know that tomorrow their turn shall come and they too shall be doing the same crimes, therefore, they are not speaking against these items and that is the reason that in most of the countries public funds had been misutilised or mis-appropriated, but none has gone to jail nor this money had ever been confiscated or refunded to the state exchequer. Who so ever had collected money that remained with him and that is the reason this class of politicians have turned rich in such democracies.

Since there is no alternative, the people are bearing all this bungling and they are not shifting once again to the rule of rajas, maharajas, monarchs and the imperialists. No body knows what shall be the next form of government, but it seems these politicians shall not leave this field and now more and more people are joining this line because it gives money and power both and the man starts running in crores. That is the reason that in India there had been a family rule, there had been a party dictatorship and then there had been individual autocracy. Now we are running in alliance system, but here too people are taken in on their merits, but they are taken in on the basis of their strength in the government. Till these politicians rule a country, we would not find people on merits and we should not expect any major development in the country The politicians would never allow intelligent, wise and meritorious people in the parties because once such entries are allowed, the people without merits shall have to be ousted and such a course is not favouring them. The politicians are not there to serve the nation, but they have taken up this line as a profession, trade, calling and employment and they are investing huge amounts just to win elections and form a government. Then they divide ministries as is done in a partnership business.

Starting a Children s Charity

Everyone wants to feel as if they have something special to contribute. There are so many charitable organizations and more needed all the time. If you have considered starting your own children’s charity, there are some things that you need to know first. It’s not as easy as just saying it and having it done. There are a lot of small details and a lot of hard work involved. It’s important to be sure that it is something you really want to do before you begin. Starting a children’s charity requires vast amounts of dedication and commitment.

There are many legal requirements and stipulations that go with starting a charity of any kind. You will have to get in touch with your local government for all of the necessary information for your area and state. These things can vary based upon where you live so track down all appropriate government numbers before you get started. You will have to already know exactly what type of charity you are interested in running. You need to know for certain and have your facts straight.

This type of endeavour certainly does not come without a ton of hard work. You will spend so much time planning that you may find it overwhelming. It’s a good idea to have someone on board that is willing to donate their time to helping you. You will have to draw up something similar to a business plan in order to define and outline your mission. It must be very clear so there is no mistaking what it is you wish to do. Mission development is essential for any successful charity.

You will also have to fill out Articles of Incorporation. This lays the foundation of your charity and is a necessary part of making your organization legal. You can find samples of how to do this online which is much easier than trying to guess. Look up some assistance online to make this process as smooth as possible.

Make sure that you also get in touch with the IRS. You will need to receive a federal employer number from them so that you can be put in their system for tax purposes. This is important for charities. Make sure that you don’t leave anything out. Also ask them about any charity packages that they may have in place to assist you further.

Once you have dealt with all of the legal aspects accordingly, you can start promoting your charity. Nobody will know who you are if you do not get your name out. Like any kind of organization, it takes plenty of marketing to reach the people that your charity needs the most. Make flyers, start a website and get as many friends as you can to help spread the word. New charities have a high rate of failure so take your time to plan wisely. A children’s charity is a great way to make a difference in the world. Do it right the first time so that you can see it succeed.

How to Choose the Most Convenient Auto Club

Choosing an auto club is a very important choice. It isn’t enough to simply choose whatever auto club program comes your way. That is because each auto club is different in that they have their own set of benefits and price ranges. It is important to explore all of these options in order to find the program that is the right program. The wrong program is going to provide you with things you don’t need and those things you do need won’t be available to you. To make sure this doesn’t happen to you, make sure you do your research.

The pros and cons

There are certain pros and cons that must be evaluated when choosing the most convenient auto club. This includes cost, whether or not roadside assistance is included, if travel discounts are offered, and if any other discounts are provided to members. When it comes to cost, the cost of an auto club membership can exceed that of your regular roadside assistance. However, the auto club is going to provide you with more benefits.

As mentioned before, there are possible discounts included for when you travel. There are also discounts possibly included when you’re not traveling. For example, you can eat at a restaurant that honors your auto club card and receive 10% off of your meal total. You can also find discounts at retail outlets and outlets on the internet.

In regards to how the discounts work, a travel discount is going to provide you with savings on vacation packages, rental cars, hotels, cruises, and so much more. The discount is only relevant to traveling and nothing else. Other discounts include the restaurants and the retail outlets. A discount program is very important because that means you’re going to save some money while traveling. That is money that can be used to do something extra or eat at that extra special restaurant. Those discounts can also be the difference between staying in a 3 star hotel and staying in a 4 star hotel.

Roadside assistance

Saving money through auto club discounts is great, but roadside assistance is actually the most important part of an auto club membership. This is because roadside assistance is what is going to assist you if you’re stranded without help. It is very important to learn everything possible about the roadside assistance contained within auto club memberships. Here are the specifics that a good roadside assistance program should possess:

- Towing service – This can pay for the cost of the auto club membership since one towing can cost around $75.

- Tire change service – This is important because a flat tire can occur at anytime. Roadside assistance will summon help to put on your spare tire for you.

- Lockout service – Everyone locks their keys in their car at one time or another. Having a locksmith get the keys out of your car can cost around $30 to $40. Having this assistance provided by your auto club’s roadside assistance is included in your membership.

- Gas and battery service – If you run out of gas, roadside assistance includes gas to be brought to you so that you can get to the next gas station and fill up. They should also give your battery a jump if your battery dies.

All of these services should be included in roadside assistance, so make sure that they are. These services will ensure that you do not become stranded in an unfamiliar or dangerous place.

Do your research

So make sure you do your research before choosing an auto club. Make sure that you can use all of the services provided and that you’re not paying for services you can’t use. Everyone needs to have an auto club membership. Everyone just doesn’t need the same package.

The Relationship Between Sports Organizations and Community Service

The relationship between sports organizations and community service exists on at least two different levels: team activities and individual activities. The players may be asked to take part in various activities as a club; such activities would typically be accompanied by extensive publicity with cameras rolling. In addition, players may be asked to individually participate in activities to benefit the community as a whole. In each of these situations, the players may be pressured to be part of the community service, or they may choose to truly volunteer, either as a group or as individuals. In this instance, there may be less publicity.

Team Participation

Team participation in a particular community service project usually involves lots of publicity and may even be undertaken with the intent of convincing other members of the community to participate in the project. The team may appear at a rally to raise funds for a community center, or may take part in a drive to collect funds for Christmas gifts. Usually, the community service activity is a project that will benefit either the entire community or some segment of the community. The star power of the team is utilized to persuade others to join in physically or financially. During a fund raising drive for a community playground, for example, the players of a team may man the telephones to collect pledges, or sign autographs for fans in return for a donation. Although it is a team sanctioned event, the entire team may not always appear at every event.

Individual participation

Another type of relationship between sports organizations and community services is less formal. A team member may choose to participate individually in a particular community service project, simply because he or she believes in the project. This participation may be a matter of spending a few hours each week as a basketball coach at the local community center or Boys and Girls Club. The team member may choose to volunteer at a Blind Camp or as a Big Brother or Big Sister. In this instance, there is likely to be less publicity. In fact, the player may shun publicity for the project. This type of assistance can be either physical or financial. It can even be a matter of anonymous assistance, simply because the need is there and the player wants the attention focused on the need rather than on him or herself.

Financial Assistance

There is little doubt that sports figures are paid some of the highest salaries in the world today. It is for that reason that many in society assume that because players earn more money, they should also be more willing to contribute money toward the general welfare. The difficulty with this way of thinking is that each supplicant looking for help for a community or personal project believes that their pet project is of highest importance. Rarely is there any recognition that the player may have their own schedule of priorities that may not include financial assistance to individuals or community service projects. For sports stars and movie stars alike, there is some perception that since the public is responsible for the stardom, the public has the right to demand financial assistance from the sports star.

Training and educational volunteer

Often a player may feel they get more personal satisfaction from volunteering their own time for a community service activity. They may be fully capable of hiring someone to do the physical part project for them, but choose instead to actively, physically and emotionally participate in the planning or implementation of the project. In this instance, the only reason publicity is sought is for the good it will do the project itself. A surprising number of sports personalities choose to volunteer their time and energy in this way for the good of the community.

Publicity

Among those sports organizations that value the importance of publicity for the team, there can be a great deal of pressure upon team members to take part in publicity type community service projects. This can be to publicize the good citizen aspects of the team, or can even be a pet project of the team administration, owner or manager. Although the organizers of the community service project are usually happy to get any possible publicity for their project, in fact, the sports organization may be just as interested in fostering good publicity for the team because of the community service activities. The more fans that are happy with the team means more attendance at games which in turn can mean more revenue for the team.
