Selecting the Best Sports, Fitness and Social Health Club

Joining a Fitness and Health Club is a great way of maintaining active lifestyle, spending your leisure time having pure fun and the best way to expand your social club. It is very important to know whether the club suits your personal interest, so before signing below the dotted line, consider all the pros and cons, before taking a decision.

The first and foremost thing to consider before joining health club or fitness club is its location. It is always better to have the club close by to your office or house, so that you will not have excuse of going regularly due to distance. Survey shows that those members who live far away from the health and fitness clubs, they do not go to health club on regular basis.

The next thing to consider is staff and customer care. Professional trainers and instructors should be certified. If you suffer from any pre-existing disease or physical limitations, in such circumstances, ensure your instructor will be able to handle and work with you. Look and watch out for the customer care of the health club and see if they answer your questions, clarify your doubts and are polite. If the health and fitness club have dietitians, physical therapists and massage therapists additional services, it is always better.

The next question to ask is the availability for what service you are looking for. Say if you are interested in learning tennis, see if they have the classes at convenient times suited to you.

The best way to know if the particular health and fitness club will work for you is to go for trial class. Most health and fitness clubs offer trial classes. During the actual trial class you will know whether you like the instructor, able to understand him and if you feel comfortable in the class, you can also know more about the pace of the class, music, if sufficient space available and other personal preferences you have.

Look out for the equipment the health and fitness club has. The equipment most is modern, clean and up to date. Also ensure they have enough numbers of all equipment so that you need not wait in queue for your workout. Remember treadmills and bicycles are the most used equipments in fitness and health clubs.

One of the important aspects of health and fitness club is social interaction. Most health and fitness clubs have space for social gathering with comfortable couches and chairs. A good health and fitness club is well equipped with coffee, tea and juice machines.

Other miscellaneous things to look out for are parking space, condition of bathroom and showers, and see if the whole facility is maintained well.

It’s been known for centuries that losing weight doesn’t include only a special diet. Sports has always been the most important thing losing and maintaining weight, shaping your body and most importantly keeping your body healthy and strong. In this article you’ll find out what one should do trying to get accustomed to doing sports and making it a regular habit.

-always work out regularly at the same time;
-promise yourself to work out regularly;
-regime is the most essential thing in maintaining a stable weight;
-if you’re very busy, always schedule sports on your daily notebook;
-always check your achievements. Can you make this distance faster than a month ago?
-ask your physician or sports expert to set you a list of exercises precisely for you with the number of sets and reps;
-join a fitness gym or sports club, make friends. This will make you do sports regularly.

To avoid the injuries

Consult carefully before starting any exercising. You should be 100% aware of the correct implementation of the exercise.

Every time start with the warm up. You need to warm your muscles and joints, so that they become more flexible. Do a 5-10 minute stretch and cardio walking. Finish your work out with a cool down stretch, too. This is also important for your heart rate.

Find out which clothing or shoes are best for a specific type of sports. Lots of joint or back injuries are caused by the improper shoes while jogging, doing aerobics or dancing.

Observe your body. Stop the work out if you feel you’re out o breath, dizzy, weak, and nauseous or in pain.

Always drink lots of water if you’re doing an intensive work out.

The benefit of the regular exercising

  • Exercise converts adrenaline into energy
  • Exercise promotes self-confidence and improves your mood
  • Exercise improves your mental health
  • Exercise makes you feel alive
  • Exercise improves stamina
  • Exercise speeds your metabolism and helps you manage your weight.
  • Exercise reduces your risk of cardiovascular disease
  • Exercise reduces your risk for type 2 diabetes and metabolic syndrome
  • Exercise reduces your risk of some cancers
  • Exercise strengthens your bones and muscles
  • Exercise improves your ability to do daily activities and prevent falls, if you're an older adult.
Exercise increases your chances of living longer.

Golf Training Club 7 Ways a Golf Training Club Can Help Your Game

Since Tiger Woods has taken over the PGA Tour, everyone is looking for golf-specific workouts and exercises. A golf training club, also known as a golf practice club, is a useful piece of golf fitness equipment to any golfer. Here are seven ways that a weighted golf training club or a golf practice club can help your golf game:

1. A golf training club allows you to work out and strengthen the exact muscles that you use in the golf swing during your workout program. All of the top fitness trainers attempt to build strength in their athletes replicating the motion that they will be using in their sport. Most of the time they have to use free weights and can only come close to resembling the actual movement.

2. Since you cannot really get any more golf specific than using a weighted practice club in your work outs, it is one of the most effective ways to increase your club head speed. Obviously, club head speed has a direct impact on how far that you can hit the ball as well.

3. Although the golf club may only be a couple of extra pounds, the more times that you swing it, you will see a big difference as the extra weight and will help you increase your flexibility The extra weight will make it difficult to stop at the top of your back swing stretching you farther and increasing your flexibility.

4. The same theory holds true on the forward swing as well. A weighted golf practice club will turn you through to a better finish position facing your target.

5. Another benefit of a heavy golf practice club is the extra weight will force you to use more of your core muscles. You will do this not only to swing the club around you but also to keep your balance during the swing. Balance is a very important part of the golf swing that is often overlooked by many golfers and even instructors.

6. It is important that you use a golf training club that is weighted proportionately to a real golf club. Just throwing a weight at the end of a golf club is just not the same. As all of the weight is at the far end of the golf club and it feels nothing like what you really swing.

7. It is also important to remember to swing the golf practice club both right handed and left handed. If not, you will not be giving equal work to both sides of your body and with one side stronger or weaker than another, an injury may occur.

A golf practice club will not work every part of your body. You will need to do other exercises for your hamstrings for example. However, a golf training club will give you better balance, increased flexibility and building strength as benefits of a golf practice club, you will see an increase in your driving distance that is sure to lead to shooting lower scores.
